THE PATH - DEVLOG - Log #6

Hey guys, Ok, so, I worked on the props and a bit of the sets yesterday, it was time consuming but fun.
I figured out some stuff for the gameplay while doodling.
Today is going to be a long one. The goal is to finish all the visual elements that Grégoire needs to put the game togeher and to start implementing the new ideas. So I have to clean up the tiles of land once and for all, match the connection between them so the transitions are seamless, design a couple of sets and few more props, and when all that is done I have to apply a color filter juice over everything to make it saucy.
When Grégoire will do his magic, I'll work on the set shadows (the ones over everything) to give the game a better sense of space.
Here's what I did yesterday:
Dressing up the ditch.
I modified the ants so they would look in perspective a bit when seen from the side.
Plancs... Because who doesn't need plancs?
More swamp, always mooore swamp.
Introducing the idea of night... It's spooky in the ditch at night.
There you go, that's it for today.
